Hello, readers!  I am H.G. Wells, a.k.a. Mentalmath on ROBLOX.  I am so happy to be a part of this wonderful blog.  I'm going to get started on one of my all time favorite places, ۞ Légèreté de la liberté ۞

The  Légèreté de la liberté is a steampunk-style airship that floats above the ocean.  Built by stuntman007, he has been working on this magnificent airship for around 2 years.  With impeccable c-framing and outstanding imagination, this place stands out as one of my favorite places on ROBLOX.  I think I'll wear my tophat and drink some tea, because stuntman007 has a steampunk obsession as big as mine.

Outrageous Off-Topic: Episode 1

First, before we kick off this series, I am INCREDIBLY sorry I didn't get to do the first episode yesterday.  I went to a baseball game yesterday, and I was busy.  But, since I have the time, I'll be starting it today!  Here we go!

I wasn't laughing when I saw the top post, but when I saw the reply that Dubliner made, I decided to select this as the first post.  Outrageous Scale: 3/10.  Kinda' weak.  I DID laugh quite a bit, though.  It was just not really something to "go nuts" about.  Original thread here: Original Thread

I found this post a while ago.  When I first saw this post on the OT forums, I had seen him also create another post that went along the lines of the "________ DRAWS NEAR.  WAT DO".  I laughed quite a bit at it, as I'd already seen his first post.  You have to read the thread starter's post to understand it.  Outrageous Scale: 5/10.  Original thread here: Original Thread

I...don't even know quite what to say about this one.  It's some guy that I found on the 4th page of OT.  Apparently, he has to hold in his #2...for some reason.  When I first saw this post, I stared at it for a bit, then cracked up.  Outrageous Scale: 8/10.  He earned it.  He earned it, indeed.  Original thread here-oh, never mind.  I can't seem to find it.  Oh well.  He didn't have any replies, anyways.

Yes, another random post.  As you can clearly see on his torso, the guy's a troll.  He's doing what all trolls do.  Troll.  I chose this because none of it makes sense, therefore making it outrageous.  Outrageous Scale: 6/10.  Original thread here: Original Thread

Hat Review: Panda Knit

Pandas!  Freakin' pandas!  Whoever is the one at Roblox that made this hat, THANK YOU for doing so.  Yes, I know it's a retexture of the Kuddle E. Koala, but I have to say, they did a very good job at retexturing it.  Unfortunately, they kept that considerably large nose from the original Koala hat.  The nose definitely makes the hat look...off.  Other than that, the hat is perfect!  Even the price is good!  If there's anything else I should add, it's that I like how they added a stringy, knit texture to the hat.  It looks much better than the old knit texture the creator used for the Koala.

This is a newer hat made by Roblox that I actually enjoy looking at.  9/10.  Good job, Roblox.  Good job, indeed.

Outrageous Off-Topic: New Blog Series!

Look out, Robloxians!  Here comes the wrath of the Off-Topic forum!  Have you ever come across a post on Off-Topic that was incredibly weird and made you laugh?  Wish you had a source that found those posts and brought them to you?  Look no further, as the Outrageous Off-Topic gang will take care of that for you!  Every Tuesday and Wednesday, me and a few other people (if I can find some people willing to help) will be diving deep into the jungle that is called Off-Topic for some of the most hilarious, strange, or outrageous posts!  This will be the first blog series here on Lostrokk's Roblox Rampage, as I plan and starting a few more.  Hold on to your plastic bodies, Robloxians, we'll be starting soon!

Lostrokk's Blog Updates

Okay, so far, so good.  I've been doing this blog for two days or so, and this is my fifth post (not counting "Kicking Off Roblox Rampage")!  I've made 3 posts today, and this is the 4th.  I'm on a roll!  Now, onto the updates.

I REALLY will start working on the other pages of this website.  They just feel so boring to do.  I'll start working on some of them sometime tomorrow.  I'll try to resist procrastination.

There are also a few other things I'm going to mention.  One of my friends, also the only follower of this website, H.G. Wells, I think?  He's not the actual science fiction author, his username is "Mentalmath" on Roblox.  He'll be soon helping out on the blog, but he's on vacation for another 3-4 days.  I hope to see him posting soon (and getting some more frequent visitors on this blog, if he can)!

I'm also going to be doing a "Starred Article" event...thing every week.  It's basically a post on this blog that I really liked, or want to show out to the internet.  Any articles that have the badge (shown below) and are not the current one are previous Starred Articles.

I'll also be adding small badges to articles that are milestones for this blog (5-150, because I'm too lazy to make any more).  Ironically, this is the 5th post milestone! Yay!  That's all I can really think of mentioning.  I might post some more reviews today, depends on what I'm doing after dinner.  See ya' guys around!

Place Review: Survive The 87 Disasters!

For most people in Roblox.  This game is a complete classic.  Earning over 11 million visits, this game truly is a towering success.  Since this is my first Place Review, I'm going to dive right into it.  These reviews will be sometimes longer than other types of articles, as I wish to cover more in these.

Design: I love how the map changes every so often, to mix things up a bit.  I wish they had more structures in some of the maps.  But it's still good that TheFurryFox added a map changer. 9/10.

Scripting: Definitely beyond average.  Some of the disasters could use a bit more tweaking (not that I could name any), but overall a nicely scripted game. 10/10.

Gameplay:  A REAL well-built place right here.  I have seen some people try to make games similar to this, but the original stands over all.  The disasters come by the dozens, and the gameplay is constant.  TheFurryFox even added a little shop!  It really gives a small motivation to work towards, such as a grappling hook or skateboard.  Some of the disasters are buggy, but that doesn't change my opinion at all, as he releases patches constantly.  11/10!

Very nice game, indeed.  Any Robloxian that hasn't tried this game yet should try it.  An awesome game that everyone should know and love.

telaluchiha1 - The "Brother" of jaredvaldez

By now, I think most people that are aware of Roblox game copiers know the name "telaluchiha1".  If not, you haven't been looking around much.  telaluchiha1, just like jaredvaldez, copies games.  Any games.  Doesn't matter what game it is.  As you can see in the picture I have put together above, he HAS been copying games.  Each picture is a screenshot of the game I took about 3 minutes ago.  This is all the proof I needed that telaluchiha1 is a game copier.  Need more proof?  If you look closely, the real version of the game was last updated 1 year ago.  telalu's version?  Updated 1 day ago.  Not only does he copy games, but he has certain ones that he copies.  Almost all of the games he's copied (The Cave of Untold Secrets and Welcome to the Town of Robloxia), the original creators of them have been banned.  It's as if he's copying games because the user that created the original one can't accuse them.  I can't really come up with anything else to say (other than "telaluchiha1 is obviously stupid"), so I'll end it here.  Stay safe, Robloxians, and keep an eye on your games!

Hat Review: Desert Scout

Everyone should know this is a retexture.  I don't even have to try this on in Roblox Studio to know what it's like.  Whoever did the retexture, kudos to them for a good job.  But when you think about the hat with common sense.  Who's going to run around with a thick, insulated hood and mask?  In the desert?  I don't know why anyone would even.  But since we're talking about a video game where anything is virtually possible, I'll have to let it pass.  Something I would never think of wearing, but overall a good hat.

9.5/10 for the hat.
4/10 for common sense.

Gear Review: Dubstep Boombox

Ahh, dubstep.  One of the most favorited, modern music genres on the internet.  I decided to do a review on this gear because I, just like other internet surfers, love dubstep.  I decided to try this out on Roblox Studio from the free models section, to see what it was like.  Unfortunately, this gear did not meet up to my expectations.  What did I expect, you ask?  A simple hand-held gear that would play some catchy dubstep music with the click of a mouse.  This was not the case.  Instead, for starters, the music was incredibly cheesy (something I somewhat expected).  Not only this, but the gear would be launched violently out of my hand, causing my character to flip in a random direction.  You wouldn't even be able to hear the dubstep for long (if you happened to like it), because it would be out of the map before it played the first three seconds of the loop.

Overall, I would give this gear a 3/10.  Definitely something I would not purchase if I had the money.

Kicking Off Roblox Rampage
